The Active Sideboard system was developed to lift and load items without the assistance of an additional piece of equipment on the loading end and the unloading end. It was initially built to move large pieces of firewood logs without the use of additional equipment. As it developed, it became apparent that it would be extremely useful at lifting and loading other big bulky items too.
Having this system on a dump truck allows you to lift and load items, plus haul dirt, sand, gravel with no changes to the truck. It actually makes a dump truck a multi-purpose machine instead of only being able to haul dirt, sand, gravel etc..
This is a prototype that is patent pending. Our team is looking for a manufacturer or investors to bring this attachment to market.
